Kate Beckinsale
Kathrin Romany Beckinsale, born 26 July 1973.[1][2][3[1][2][3] Kathrin Romany Beckinsale is an English actress. Following a couple of small TV roles, her first film appearance was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) when she was studying at the University of Oxford. In addition to numerous radio and stage productions, she starred in British costumes dramas like Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), and Shooting Fish (1997). Beckinsale made her first film in the United States in late 1990s. After appearing in smaller-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), Beckinsale played in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). Then she starred in the aforementioned films with her starring parts in The Aviator (2004) and Click (2006). These films made Beckinsale a prominent star in Hollywood. Also, she appeared in Click (2006) and The Aviator (2004). She is still appearing in less dramatic projects, like Snow Angels (2007), Nothing but the Truth (2008), as well as Everybody's Fine (2009). The reviews were generally favorable for both of her previous films. In 2016, she earned critical acclaim for her performance in the period-themed comedy film Love & Friendship, for which she received a nomination for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy. Jolt (1921) made her back to action films. She also appeared in two television shows, The Widow (2019) and Guilty Party (2021).
