Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actress best known for playing House in the Fox medical drama House. In a strictly Jewish background, Lisa Edelstein was able to move from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of the Arts. Then, in the course of time, she became engaged in the city's nightclub scene, making enough splashes to get noticed by the press, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. She eventually used her experience as well as her celebrity to compose and write the musical called Positive Me in which she starred. Awake in the Wild Side was her next job. Following the end of the series, she started appearing in the film and television industry, at first in small roles, and slowly established her acting career.
