Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to the One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He's the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own musical band with three classmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, they also participated in the 2010 Battle of Bands. While he's always fascinated by music, he also hoping to be an lawyer or physical therapist. In order to provide for the family he spent a short time working part-time at a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. The reason for this was that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010, and the five members were funded by Simon Cowell. The group was backed by Cowell, and they performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the top contenders in the competition. However they were 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
